AFRICA,

Like most people I went there & discovered purpose.  In the west you can not help but be sheltered.  You see certain things in Africa, like a woman crying pushing another women in a wheelbarrow over a dirt field.  Running on a hopless journey, looking for a hospital that is as good as a million miles away.

You see children in a hospital waiting room, unconscious and unable to get help.  You see girls the age of five or six being the mother for her younger siblings; their childhood stolen from them.

At first you can be horrified, and then you wonder why?

I found that I was horrified as I was an individual who was able to do something, and I was doing nothing.
