It happened on Dec 29th 2007... two days after the elections

If you click on the brick & make a donation you are doing so to help African healthcare.  The building of the Shoe4Africa Children's Teaching Public Hospital came as a direct cause of the post election violence.  It was never in our mission statement to build such an institution, or did I really think it would ever be.  I thought there was far more qualified organizations, in both wealth, size, and mission to be doing such work... but I was wrong.

In the same fashion I never thought I would be holding peace races either.  A lot about Shoe4Africa is being there, and seeing what needs to be done.  That, I feel, is why we are so effective.
