In Kenya

Back in Nairobi, or in Nairobi, back from New York. Kenya has begun to feel almost like a home site and NYC as a visitor. One thing that always confuses me is the Nairobi traffic - a dire lack of signs and directions gets me quite confused. However things are getting and today's navigation to the other side of town was much easier than the last time I was here. Yesterday we were in Karen visiting Gerard, a Dutch visionary whom we are doing a couple of projects with; he will also be involved in our next Peace Relay. Then today it was to the East side of Nairobi to meet with a Trustee of the Chandaria Foundation. We are working on the Mission of Understanding; we drafted one, they approved with minor additions, and now, after signing, we shall send to the Moi Referral for their overseeing. If then all parties are happy we set forth and boom - off and running. That means the process for selecting an architect then begins and we can start. Talking about which a huge thanks to Timo; look at this--

Timo

**Thanks to Timo, again running for Shoe4Africa in an amazing race: "I will dedicate this 230km footrace to Shoe4Africa and will donate 1USD for every KM I run to support S4A's ambitious project to build Kenya's first children's hospital. Would be great to have your support as well (only if I finish of course;)) You can donate via my fundraiser page http://www.shoe4africa.org/charity/civicrm/contribute/pcp/info?reset=1&id=275 Wow, so far, what kind of race is that? Anyway Timo has been a blessing for Shoe4Africa and he has started a small team there - see our previous entry with Marco Lui. Tomorrow I have a meeting with SAFARICOM's CEO Bob Collymore. Safaricom have 75% of the cellphone market here in Kenya and it would be wonderful to link S4A with them. Then it is road trips West... Thanks for all your support...
