AIDS Awareness

Role Models, not politicians or doctors, pass on the greatest impact to the young; educate the young and you influence an d involve the society.  Shoe4Africa’s message of empowerment, health and aids awareness is passed on to the Young Africa through the voices and actions of the nation’s greatest sports stars and trained physicians.

Our events empower and involve the entire community, making inclusive-involvement its core and understanding.  The goal of breaking down barriers and stigmas that stunt awareness is done through a subliminal environment where the sports are the central visual theme. We purposely are slow to expand, laying big foundations to make sure we have sustained impact and knowledge.  The fundamental basics of running, the most universal of all sports, open the doors to our tutajenga program.

Aids Awareness

To participate in the sport builds character and discipline in one’s life, to stick with the program proves determination and dedication; we teach these values by encouraging a life linked with recreational/professional sports – we promote all from the tots to the village elders come and join us.  Providing aids testing, tips on cleanliness and health essentials at our community events is a step up for helping Africa’s come to terms with one of today’s most perilous epidemic.
